Poland´s men team beats Sweden

No problem for the Polish National Team in defeating Sweden, Poland clearly won in two sets.

Poland were aiming for a good position in race for the next stage of the tournament, so the Polish players have started with top motivation and concentration.

Sweden who are the first time at the Beach Handball European Championship had an improved defence compared to their yesterday games, but it was not enough against the skilfull Polish players who dominated both sets and scored magnificent goals from every possible position.

Jesper Knuttson, player of Sweden: “For us this is a learning experience and we want to get better and show Europe what we are capable of. We got crushed by Spain and were expecting the same against Croatia, but we have challenged them and they were surprised by our performance. In the game against Poland we´ve played our best defence in the first half. All in all we´re satisfied, and we´ll definitely be better the next time around.”
