Full packed stands and great atmosphere awaited the European Champions Croatia and hosts Oman in the final of the test tournament.
The two teams were battling hard for the first place and whilst Oman were supported by their vociferous supporters, Croatia trusted their own assets and gave all out in the first period dominating it till the final whistle.
Both teams were effective by scoring through their tall line-players, but the Croats also enlisted a strong goalkeeping performance and this helped me to dominate the second period.
Nevertheless the hosts were pushed hard by their loyal fans and with good tactics they turned the result in the second period forcing the Europeans to a shoot-out.
There, the east-europeans showed the better nerves and so after a thrilling clash Croatia celebrated victory in the test tournament.
