Croatia with maximum points after two match days!
Croatia retained their favorite role and overcame Italy in two tight periods, but without any problems.
The first period was only equal for about five minutes, then the Italians failed several times on their attacks that Croatia answered cold-blooded to four to six points lead.
In the second period Italy had a shocking start with 1:4, but fought back hard to 9:10 and 11:12 minutes before the final buzzer.
The more experienced Croats however netted again, so they remain with maximum points on top of the group ahead of their clash with Denmark on the closing days of the group phase.
Italy need Australia´s help if they were to reach the Main Round of the WBHC 2012.
