Les Bleus lost yesterday against Denmark and on Saturday they had an extra motivation in the match against Russia.

The beginning of the game showed a determined French team lead by Signate, when they managed to get a lead at 3-0, but in the second part of the first half Russia came closer and went to the break with a slim advantage of 14-12.

Second part of the game was a very equal fight where teams could not build up wider advantage against each other. Laura Glausser made her debut for France and Gnabouyou has scored from every possible situation. Russians has done a great job in defence and scored from right wing and backplayer positions, especially Davydenko. New Russian players as Ilina and Smirnova are playing a good handball, they represents the new generation in Russian handball. Olivier Krumbholz hardly understand his teams performance, 7 minutes before end Russia was in  3 goals lead, 24-21. Final result : 26-24.

We could register the second consecutive loss of France and Olivier Krumbholz in Aarhus.
