Romanian “Dream-team” won against Brasilian Hypo

Oltchim Rm. Valcea has played against Hypo in the “burning” home arena. After beeing saved by economic collaps, the Romanian team could concentrate only on handball. Jakob Vestergaard, the coach who took over after Radu Voina have a “dream-team” to work with andin top of that Cristina Neagu made her come- back to the handballcourt this week in Romanian national league.

Start-seven at Oltchim is Navarro, Curea, Jovanovic, Bradeanu, Bulatovic, Manea and Nechita. At the opponent the Brasilians completed with Bernadett Temes and Gorica Acimovic trying to fight against hosts.First half was  very balancedin the first 25 minutes, the Austrian team didn’t get scared of big names on the other side and playing tehir play managed to be close in the most of the game. 3-3, 6-6,8-8,10-8,11-11 was the evolutipn of the score. Five minutes before the end of first half Oltchim had some fast counter attacks, Neagu, Stanca, Barbosa scored and the half time ended 15-12.

Second part of the game was also quiet balanced, but Hypo couldn’t manage to reduce tha gap and Oltchim won the match. Katarina Bulatovic has showed a brilliant performance, Cristina Neagu and Paula Ungureanu made her come back in CL, Jakob Vestergaard got his first wictory with his new team. On the other hand, Hypo Niederösterich had a balanced performance against a much stronger team, and will surely be a decisive factor in this CL-group.

Final result: 30-25.

Topscorers: Katarina Bulatovic (Oltchim Valcea)10 goals and Gorica Acimovic (Hypo) 7 goals.
