In the last match of the first round of CL-groupes Germans from Buxtehude were visiting to Randers, Denmark.
The guests had only twelve players, Dutch Diane Lamein was missing because of injurz, meanwhile at hosts the play of Camilla Dalby was doubtfull.
In the first part of the match Randers played a “3-2-1” in defence and the foreign players as, Sabine Jakobsen, Ulrika Aagren, Siraba Dembele or Macarena Aguilar was “determinative factors” in the offensiv play. The German team had a weaker performance in this part of the game, without saved balls from the goalkeeper and a lot of mistakes in attack.
Half time result: 20-10.
Topscorers: Sabine Jakobsen (Randers HK) and Lone Fischer(Buxtehude) 4-4 goals.
In the second half the only question was the size of the difference between the teams. Sabine Jakobsen continued her show, Macarean Aguilar was unstopable and Chana Masson has spectacularly improved in the goal, so Buxtehude could only fight for the honour. Jan Leslie gave playing time for the young players also (Strangholt, Thomsen, Bonde) and the match ended 36-26.
Topscorers: Sabine Jakobsen (Randers HK) 8 goals and Lone Fischer (Buxtehude) 7 goals
