Last match of third round in CL groupes has been played in Ljubljana, Arena Stozice, Krim Ljubljana meeting Hungarian Champion, Győri Audi ETO KC.

Hosts  were missing injured players like Andrea Penezic and Alja Jankovic, Győr has alliniated the hole squad.

The match started with some goalkeeper saves from both Grubisic and Lunde Haraldsen, and guests had been practicing a steely defence and managed taking the lead 1-3, 3-6, 5-9. This half’s handball was dominated by a lot of mistakes from both sides, but Győr was clearly better in both ends of the court. In the final minutes Tervel had been injured (ankle?), but Görbicz led her team to a three goals gap before break, 9-12.

Second part of the game  started with Krim reducing the gap to two, but  Győr has pushed the acceleration and has distanced to five goals, 13-18, 15-20, then Hungarians increased the gap more and more, by Görbicz, Radicevic, Heidi Löke, Rédei-Soós, Kovacsics and D.Hornyák, playing  for their enthusiastic and tireless white-green fans, being present in Arena Stojice in a number of 300. From minute 50, Győr has showed a brilliant handball, defeating Krim Ljubljana in their home arena by eleven goals, 20-31.

Topscorers: Amita Görbicz (Győri Audi ETO KC) 8 goals and Maja Zrnec (Krim Ljubljana) 4 goals

Result: Krim Ljubljana- Győri Audi ETO KC 20-31 (9-12)
