Thüringer defeated Buducnost with a strong performance

In group D other big clash has been registered with participation of Thüringer and CL-title holder, Buducnost Podgorica.

The two formations has showed a strong defence and high-class goalkeeper play as well, being tie before the break, 10-10. The German team had an outstanding performance from wingers Mie Augustesen and Lidija Jakubisova, scoring on fast breaks and from wing as well, at Buducnost Milena Knezevic has taken the responsability once again and with Clara Woltering out due to  injury, Katarina Bralo was in the goal for guests.

But the second half was a race won by home-team, where THC of Herbert Müller defeated a stronger Buducnost with an enthusiastic play, helped by the home crowd (1900 people) from the tribunes. Final result: 24-20.

Dragan Adzic (Buducnost): ” THC was simply the stronger team today. The group is very balanced, the qualification will be decided in last moments.”

Hebert Müller (THC): ” We showed a strong defence today, the crowd was impressive, we has controlled the hole game and has got a deserved victory.”

Topscorers: Lidija Jakubisova (Thüringer) 7 goals and Milena Knezevic (Buducnost) 6 goals.

Result: Thüringer HC-Buducnost Podgorica 24-20(10-10)
