
Last weekends match had been repeated, this time in Norway, Larvik Arena, and the home-team was meeting Russians from Dinamo Volgograd.
Dinamo has collected until now only 2 points and they are disperate to won some points in Larvik too. In the start of the game Russians practiced a more open defence, which has surprised Larvik, this was reflected by the score, 0-2, 2-4, 5-6. At this point Larvik pushed on the acceleration, and scored seven fast-break goals, by Riegelhuth-Koren, Hammerseng or Anja Edin.Lene Rantala had good saving percentage, meanwhile Dinamo was hold in the match by Grebenkina and Borscenko. After 10-7, 12-8 Larvik inreased the gap and won the first half by 20-11.
The second part of the match was a march for the Norwegian team, with Leganger in the goal, interrupted from time to time of Pidpalova’s scorings. Anja Edin and Linn-Kristin Riegelhuth had an internal competition for the topscorer-title, won by Edin . Larvik played a fast handball, punishing the opponents mistakes with 18 fast-break goals in this match. Final score: 40-25.
