Austrain Hypo NO  met tonight Buxtehuder, the second German team in CL. Hypo had to defeat the Germans, almost obligatory, to remain in the race for qualification to the Main Round.

The match was balanced in the beginning, 2-2, Hypo was taking the lead by 4-2 and could keep this result ( 8-4, 9-6,12-9) until the pause. Half time: 14-11.

After the break guests showed much more desire to get a better result and the result became thight,18-16, 19-18, 23-23, 25-24. András Németh’s team had an incredibilly high number of mistakes and lost balls and in a certain periods of the match, seemed like nobody could score or find the goal. Seven minutes before the final whistle Buxtehuder got an equal (23-23), but they managed to turn the situation and beeing confident in themselves, they have defeated Buxtehuder showing a great team-spirit in the final of the match. Final result: 27-24.

Next match will be playedby Hypo on  home court against Oltchim Rm-Valcea.

Topscorer: Alexandra Do Nascimento (Hypo NO) 8 goals and Friederike Lütz (Buxtehuder) 6 goals

Result: Hypo NO- Buxtehuder 27-24 (14-11)
