Danes from Viborg HK has qualified to CL-groupes from a qualification tournament. With new signed players like goalkeepers Cecilie Grubbström and Cléopatre Darleux, right winger Louise Lyksborg and Amanda Kurtovic and backplayer Anita Bulath the team from Viborg had a real chance to be a factor in this CL.

Today they have visited Zvezda in Chekov, where they had showed a good fighting spirit, good defence, but couldn’t defeat the Russian team, which has collected until now 6 points and is keeping itself in the qualification-race for the Main Round.

After  they had been defeated in four of four matches, both on home and away-court, they are now out, matematically too,  from CL (could not qualify to the Main Round).

Topscorers: Alexandra Lacrabére(Zvezda Zvenigorod) 6 goals and Johanna Ahlm( Viborg HK) 4 goals

Result: Zvezda Zvenigorod- Viborg HK 20-17 (8-9)
