Zsuzsanna Tomori (FTC):

” It was an unusal match, we were up and down. The game was balanced despite to the weaknesses in our play. Our long-distance shoots were really bad today, this let the oppononet to score easy goals. Leganger was outstanding, one of the best goalkeepers in the world, but we failed a lot, that was the reason for today’s defeat. We should play with more calmness and cooler heads in the final period of the match, so we could have a chance to finish the group on the first place. There were a lot of things we have paid attention to, this made us distracted from the real tasks. . Congratulations to Larvik, I hope we will met them in the semifinal!”

Nerea Pena (FTC):

” The match was not as I expected, we didn’t played good, but the result was very tight almost the hole mach. We wanted a lot the victory, but Leganger had a good performance, we failed a lot. Our team couldn’t adapt to the style of referees, this made us unconcentrated. Personally I had some bad memories from my last match in this arena, beeing seriously injured that time. But we are in the Main Round, and hopefully we are going to have a good performance there as well. Work continues at  national teams, see you in Serbia.”

Cecilie Leganger (Larvik HK):

” That was a highly tensioned match, which is always very exciting, and the crowd was also fantastic. The defences was very tough today, we have not played beautifully but we fought to the end. This was infectious, and helped me in the goal, having a good performance. In the Main Round I don’t have any expectations regarding to the opponents, but I mean that is much better to meet the favourites to the title in the next round, than in semifinals. So I hope getting some strong teams.”
