
The second day of Møbelringen-cup -Golden League in Bergen has continued with the match between Denmark and France. Both teams collected a victory yesterday, so it seemed to be an exciting game from the start.
Denmark opened with 4-0, but the French girls came closer, 4-5, 7-7. The hole first half was caracterised by a tight game and a tough fight. Denmark played afast play, playmakers Kristina Kristiansen and Lotte Griegel finding often the line players and wings. France scored by wings Dembelé, Dancette and Piéjos, but Lacrebére and Signaté also netted several times. Half time: 15-15.
The second half brought a better French start, and Olivier Krumbholz’s team had an advantage by four, 20-24, after ten played minutes. Danishs has tried to reduce the gap, but French backplayers shoots worked out better, and the difference was increased to 21-27, 23-29. The final result was 33-35.
Result: Denmark-France 33-35 (15-15)
