Thursday there are matches in the group A and B on EURO 2012 in Serbia.

Group A

In the first match hosts of ECh met Ukraine, tea, which desperately needed a victory, to still keep the chance of  qualifying to the Main Round.

In a close and balanced battle Serbia, led by Andrea Lekic and Sanja Damnjanovic has managed to defeat Ukraine with a slight advantage, collecting the two points.

Head-coach of Serbia, Sasa Boskovic has not been involved this time to the play on the court….

Czech Republic-Norway

Next match was played by outsider Czech Republic against European-, World- and Olympic Champions from Norway. But the game’s evolution was an unexpected one, in the first half Norway showing a play full of mistakes, and with a brilliant Czechian goalkeeper performance the Eastern European team had a two goals gap before the break. Half time: 12-10.

Second half was a close battle as well, the Scandinavian team had to play all the time in the handicap of the score. At 16-14 the Czechian team had their last advantage, becoming 18-18 and Norway took the lead, increased the gap to 18-20 and with brilliant saves of Katrine Lunde in the final minutes the team of Thorir Hergeirsson has collected the two points, going through the Main Round. Final result: 19-21

Result: Czech Republic – Norway 19-21 (12-10)

Topscorers: Pavla Poznarova(Czech Republic) 5 goals and Linn J. Sulland (Norway) 8 goals
