The goalkeeper of Germany, Clara Woltering has shared her thoughts about the match:

“I am very satisfied with this victory against the favorite Montenegro.

We have played a really good game in defense and attack also, we controlled the game and when the opponent came closer than we managed to keep our heads cool, keep the result  and increase the gap.

My performance was  good, but I know that I can save more balls.

Now we are preparing to the next match against Romania, which will be a very important one, and we want to get two points there also.”

Heine Jensen, head coach of Germany, about the match:

” I am very satisfied with this victory, because finally we could play as we have planned before the match. We managed  to stop Bulatovic and Knezevic, the two most dangerous montenegrin players, this was the key of our succses today.

We are preparing against Romania, to get the victory in that game also.”

Ana Djokic, lineplayer from Montenegro:

” I am very happy because of the semifinal berth, but I am nervous that we played a weak match.

I think  the fact that we are qualified already in semifinal made us relaxed and  we were not enough focused  in the beginning. Today’s handball is so fast that nobody can afford ten minutes without focus, never ever in any match.

But every player could try herself in today’s game, so some our key players could  rest. Our next match against Spain will be a tough one also, we need a lot of energies.

I feel really good here in Serbia, this my home and my team is playing well, achieving good results.

This is my last final tournament with national team, so I would like to win a medal here”
