Sanja Damjanovic (Serbia):
” I am expecting a very good match in the semifinal, I am sure that the winner will be that team, having the calmest head in the match, both team (Serbia and Montenegro) has a very good defense, so that team playing tomorrow a better defense will win the game.
So far every team we have played against was the favorite to win the match, but now I would give fifty-fifty chances.
All of us , in secrete we were hoping to reach the semifinal, but none of us was brave enough to say it loud., especially concerning the fact that nobody believed in us and nobody even now believes that we can do it.
There is no pressure on us, but we have a good quality team to play here and next year in the WCh, which will also be organised in Serbia.
I really hope that spectators would come and cheer us tomorrow in the semifinal, because they are important to us.”
Ana Djokic, line-player from Montenegro:
” It would be great to have a full arena here tomorrow, because it”s much more fun to play meanwhile a lot of fans are cheering on you.
We want to win this semifinal, we are preparing and we will see, maybe big surprises will occure tomorrow.
Serbia is a coherent team, and they are playing with their hearts, like us. Every team has their weaknesses and we will try of course to exploite those.
Our goal before the ECh was to qualify from the group to the Main Round, and after that we just continued and we got into the semis.
The other semifinal is an interesting match, with Norway playing better and better and Hungary which was the biggest positive surprise here so far here in the ECh. Hungary could come out with a big surprise, even for Norway.”
Jovanka Radicevic, right winger from Montenegro:
“In the semifinals there will be exciting battles.
Norway-Hungary will be an interesting fight, I have friends and teammates in both teams, I am supporting them and I wish them a lot of luck.
I am interested in our match, I am thinking only to that, it will be a big fight against Serbia, they are playing with a lot of energy and power, as we. Our team will try to rotate players, which is very important, but the key is our energy and good defense.
Serbia has a good goalkeeper, but we have as well, I hope that Katarina (Tomasevic) won’t have a so good day than yesterday.”
