FC Midtjylland new Danish Cup winner

Saturday afternoon was organised the final of the Danish Cup, in Ikast.


The two finalists FC Midtjylland and KIF Vejen were two teams, that never won this competition before.


Ikast Brande Arena gave home to 2509 spectators, to watch the final, where after a quite equlibrate first half (14-12 to FCM), the team from Midtjylland won the Cup, defeating KIF Vejen by 28-21.


Result: KIF Vejen- FC Midtjylland 21-28 (12-14)

Topscorers: Ida Björnadelen and Lise Binger (KIF Vejen) 4 goals each and Nycke Groot (FCM) 7 goals
