Cristina Neagu, out with knee injury

Romanian backplayer, Cristina Neagu suffered a serious knee- injury on Monday during the training of her club team, Oltchim Rm. Valcea. After medical examinations the diagnosis is cruciate ligament rupture in her left knee.

She will be operated as soon as possible and needs to be in recovery at least six months.

The 24 years old top player has returned to the handball-court in September 2012, after a break she had to made due to a shoulder injury and a surgery, after which, the recovery was taking 19 months.

Neagu will miss the upcoming matches of Oltchim in CL, as well the WCh playoff with Romania.
