Isabel Blanco continues in Larvik, Sara Breistøl’s last handball year

Lineplayer Isabel Blanco has extended her contract with Larvik HK, signing an agreement for two more years.

The club was also negotiating with Marit Malm Frafjord and Heidi Löke, but both decided to stay at their present club.

” Isa is a fighter in defence and attack as well, she had a great performance here in Larvik. She is the type of player who hates to lose, and she showes it on the court every time. We have to be satisfied that she choose to stay at the club two moreyears.”- Ole Gustav Gjekstad said on

“I am very happy for this extension of my contract with Larvik. This is the best club for me, I liketo be here, I have a fien reletionship with my team mates and everything is very professional here. Last but not least Larvik has high ambitions, so this is totally my place to be.”- the 34 years old Isabel Blanco commented after extending her contract.

Larvik HK has also announced today that left winger Sarah Breistøl would stop her handball careeer after this season. The 33 years old player has played 13 seasons for Larvik HK, one of the payers who has the most played matches for Larvik HK, 375.

” I made this choice to stop after this season, because  I would like to study and maybe get a part-time job. I had two serious knee injuries, followed by surgeries during my career and now beeing healthy I have the possibility to get a normal life.”- said the left-winger to
