
Result: Győri Audi ETO KC-Buducnost Podgorica 27-17 (14-7)
Last years CL-winner and runner-up, Buducnost Podgorica and Győri Audi ETO KC met on Saturday in Hungary. Main Round has started last weekend when Norwegian Larvik HK defeated Randers, 25-19.
Buducnost is struggeling with some injury problems, Majda Mehmedovic is till not able to play, because of her knee-injury, but Dragan Adzic could send in the court Dragana Cvijic and Elena Gjorgjevska, both returned from injuries.
The first half started with a 5-0 serie from Győr’s side, Amorim, Görbicz, Rédei-Soós, Radicevic and Szepesi scoring their first goals. Katrine Lunde got an amazing start in the goal, she has nearly built a wall before her goal, so Buducnost has scored their first by Knezevic, after ten minutes of play. Then montenegrins became more agressive in defense, Cvijic has got her second two minutes suspension after nine minutes and Woltering could not help her team with savings either. The Hungarian team was unstoppable, scoring from every position, playing a high quality handball bothin defense and attack. Half time: 14-7.
The second half was quiet a copy of the first, Buducnost netting first time in the 39. minute of the match. Katrine Lunde has continued to save ball after ball, ending at 58% at the final whistle.
11 minutes was played in the second part, when Győr had a ten goal advantage, 17-7, reaching this difference more times later in the game, even increasing it to 13 goals at 24-11.Beside a fantastic Katrine Lunde in the goal we should mention Eduarda Amorim and Anita Görbicz, making a good game. Guests best player seemed to be again the same young, talented Milena Knezevic. Final result: 27-17.
