Jovanka Radicevic, right winger from Győr:

” We managed to collect the two point here in Larvik, which is a big victory. We were prepared to face a very good team and to play a difficult match, and even we had problems with our play in the first half of the game, we believed in us all the time and we got the victory.

The key factor for this victory was our well working defense and an excellent Katrine (Lunde) in the goal. I mean that these two points are leading us to the semifinals.”

Anita Görbicz, playmaker from ETO:

” Initially we expected a difficult match, which became a really difficult one. In the first half we had problems in attack, Larvik practiced a really good defense, so did we too.

Before the match we were aware of the fact that with a strong defense we could win the match, and we managed to hold the hosts under 20 goals, which is our standard in every match. We can also improve, because in my opinion we have scored few goals, only 24, which is not satisifying.”

Eduarda Amorim, backplayer, Győri Audi ETO KC:

” Our defense was not very good on the beginning of the match, I don’t really know what happened, maybe everybody was little nervous. But I think in the second half we came back fully focused, they could not score on fastbreaks, we stopped them, they made 1-2 easy goals only and in the defense we didn’t give them any chance.

We improved also our offensive play in the second half, when we have a great defense, we become calm and the attacks flows also easily. This combinaton was enough today for a victory. ”

Anja Edin, Larvik:

” It was a difficult game, where we had a god defense, but our attack was n a very low level, we have scored few goals, this could not be enough t win a match. Now we knows what we have to work on, to improve.”
