Győr crushed Larvik again, qualified to semifinals

Saturday afternoon Magvassy Mihály Sportshall is prepared for the clash of the group, between Győri Audi ETO KC and Larvik HK.

Two weeks earlier the Hungarian team has defeated Norwegians from Larvik on their own home court, score 18-24. with a fantastic prestation.

The team winning this match will assure  the first place in the group, and qualifies tp the semifinals.

The first half of the match has brought a very even and balanced game, where the two teams has followed each other . Győr started the scorings, 2-0, than Larvik equalised, 2-2. Result was equal more times in this period, until 7-7 and 8-8, when hosts  managed to take the lead an increase  the gap, 12-8, after  24 minutes of play.  Right after this hosts got to 2 minutes suspensions, and this period guests managed to reduce the gap to only one goal, 12-11. half time: 15-13.

The second part started with a Riegelhuth scoring from the seven meter line, but hosts took the control an scored  three times in the next four minutes, by Amorim, Radicevic and Lekic, 18-14, 35.min. Gjekstad has called his timeout, to give advices, Lene Rantala saved her first ball in this match, but Heidi Löke scored her first goal also. Győr managed to get a six goals advantage, by 22-16, but Larvik managed to close the gap, 23-19, ten minutes before the end of the match. 24-20, Gkejstad called his second ime out in this part of the game, 9 minutes to go. Amorim, Lekic, Görbicz scored, Katrine Lunde had an amazing performance  in the goal, hosts in advantage 27-21. Final result:

Topscorers: Eduarada Amorim (ETO) 7 goals and Linn Kristin Riegelhuth Koren (Larvik HK) 6 goals
