Alexandrina Barbosa and Silvia Navarro has announced the Romanian Handball Federation some weeks ago that they will release their contracts if they won’t be paid until 4.March by the club.

Romanian club has managed to pay salaries for December 2012 and after that they agreed with the two Spanish players to stay and show a little bit more patience regarding the wages. Navarro and Barbosa will stay and play against FTC this weekend in Hungary.

Line player Ionela Stanca was in the same situation, but today (6th March) when the deadline for paying her salary has gone out, the club has decided to release her contract, letting her to leave the club.

Petre Berbecaru, the president of  Oltchim said:

” I have submitted a document to the RHF  and we have announced that the club drops  Ionela Stanca. A player who once betrayed the cub, is not worth investing more. Ionela Stanca is the only player in Romania for whom we have made financial efforts  last summer, this beeing a part of our debts right now. I thought we were wrong to believe in her.”

If Ionela Stanca leaves Oltchim today, this means that Oltchim Rm.Valcea will play with only one line player, Oana Manea in the next CL matches, Ekaterina Vetkova is also is a player of the Romanian club, playing on loan in Russia.
