In a totally outsold Moraca Arena, Buducnost Podgorica met last years CL-runner up, Győri Audi ETO KC in a match of life and death, regarding to keep hosts chances to an advancement to the semifinal.

The match stared with an obvious superiority of the visitors from Győr, and after fifteen minutes of play Győr was in lead, 4-8. Görbicz, Löke and Amorim netted more times and ETO increased the gap to 5-11, minute 18th.

Dragan Adzic has called his timeout and his team has managed to reduce the gap to the end of the first half, using every possible, regular ( ?) resources, but we could also see movements in defense from Buducnost, which are totally against the rules of handball. Handball as a sport is a very hard and tough one, but it could have her own beauty as long as it’s not degradated to a simple  street fight.Half time result: 12-13.

In the second half there was no change in the game, Buducnost has a very tough defense, many times brutal, and Győr tried to play handball and win the match. Hungarians had a slim advantage all the time in the first half of this part, 14-16, but hosts, fighting to remain in race to semis managed to draw at 17-17, even take the lead 19-17, 20-18 ten minutes before the final whistle.

Spanish coach of Győr, Ambros Martín tried to not be preocupied of the very hostile conditions and called his timeout two minutes before the end (at 20-20), said to his team to concentrate only to win this game.

Győr has played the last two minutes of the match very disciplined, Lunde closed her goal, Radicevic and Löke netted in the dying minutes, and even Buducnost tried everything,  the final result of this tensioned game has brought the elimination of Montenegrins from the race to the final four.

Final result: 21-22.
