Some weeks ago, we have informed our readers that it might be possible that new left back will arrive to Danish club, Viborg HK.

Today is confirmed by the cub, that Serbian Sanja Damnjanovic has signed a two years contract with the club, Viborg having big ambition to get back among the top teams of Europe.

The 25 years leftback is playing in Podravka Koprivnica, Croatia, and she scored 50 goals in the CL this season in only 5 matches (she became injured before the last group match against Győri Audi ETO KC).

Damnjanovic is member of the Serbian national team, and she was elected as the best leftback at EURO 2012 in Serba, when her team got the fourth place.

” Sanja Damnjanovic is the player who fits in our team, she is very good in attack, had a good eye for the play and her teammates and she is world-class also in defense. With her in the squad we can reach high again.”- said Susanne Wilbek on

Another information regarding the squad for next year is that Swedish playmaker, Johanna Ahlm will leave the club after this season. She will stay in Denmark, her next club will probably be team Esbjerg.
