Ole Gustad Gjekstad, head-coach of Larvik HK means that Larvik’s squad seems the strongest now, right before the finals.

..about the squad

The reason for we seem stronger than earlier, could be find in the facts: Tonje Larsen can play both defense and attack again, and Nora Mörk comeback to the court. This is a real uprise for the whole team.

Nora Mörk can play again, but her playing-time is delimited on 15-20 minutes, and we have to be very careful with that, even watching the clock.

…about Győr

We played to bad matches against Győr earlier this season, but now we are well equipped to meet them. Győr has already lost two CL-finals, and I think we have a little bit of advantage here, since many of our players had been part of the team which took the trophy two years ago.

We have a good plan how to defeat Győr, I feel that we enter this duel from the position of challenger team and we can use this to be an advantage.

…about the play

We have to show authority on the court, to tackle them, in that way Győr-players feels that this will be more difficult than last time. It should be something so primitive like a fight.

…about preparing for a final

There are not so many special things we are doing, just ordinary trainings like before every other CL-match. But I see that it turns a little extra on the pitch in training these days and I can notice that small difference
