Larvik Arena is totally sold out, so around 4000 fans will support their teams, among them about 200 Hungarians also.

Main sponsor of Larvik HK, Skaferak have provided white T-shirts which are set on the seats of the Arena Larvik, so every people can wear them, intending to have a dominating white colour in the hall.

Before the match

Ole Gustav Gjekstad ( Larvik HK ), head-coach:

“We played to bad matches against Győr earlier this season, but now we are well equipped to meet them. Győr has already lost two CL-finals, and I think we have a little bit of advantage here, since many of our players had been part of the team which took the trophy two years ago.

We have a good plan how to defeat Győr, I feel that we enter this duel from the position of challenger team and we can use this to be an advantage.”

Ambros Martín (Győri Audi ETO KC), head-coach:

“Larvik had not changed so much in the last three years. They have the same players, same coach and same play. The two teams had played many matches against each other so they know each other perfectly.

In my opinion the tactic won’t be crucial, but the fact which team can play its own game near to perfect and concentrate until the end.”

Anita Görbicz (Győri Audi ETO KC)

“Larvik is not the same team as it was in he Main Round, they have improved a lot, and they proved this against Krim, when they qualified with a clear away victory. This must be a warning signal for us.

On the other hand, I don’t think we have to fear them, we are not that team. We know our strength and we also know where we have to improve. We were working hard for this in the last year.

The key of the match will surely be the quality of the defense, during the two matches.”

Cecilie Leganger (Larvik HK):

” It’s not happens so often that one can reach the final. Therefore we have to use lots of time and looking forward to it, and at the same time think about it to realize that a CL-final is not something granted. It is very special and huge that we are here now, second time with Larvik. One thing is to win once CL, with a team without injuries and a little bit of luck, when everything works our perfectly. But it is much bigger issue to be able to take the trophy second time, and getting this chance gives a special motivation to everybody.”
