CL-final: Győr defeats Larvik in the first match

Topscorers: Linn kristin Riegelhuth-Koren(Larvik HK) 5 goals and  Anita Görbicz (Győri Audi ETO KC) 8 goals
Best players of the match: Cecilie Leganger (Larvik HK) and Heidi Löke (Győri Audi ETO KC)
The final of the CL started with small mistakes and nervous actions from both sides, but Győr netted first bt Amorim. Then the game became close and balanced, as a CL-final should be, where both teams has tried to show their best n the court. Evolution of the score –was , 1-1, 3-3, 5-3, 6-4, ,6-6, 7-7, the guests took the lead at  7-9.

Jovanka Radicevic was unstopable from fast breaks,  Katrine Lunde showed an outstanding performance in the goal, but Cecilie Leganger had good saves as well.

Linn-Kristin Riegelhuth and Linn-Jörum Sulland  scored   three goals each. Anikó Kovacsics got injured (27.minute), Görbicz scored for 12-12 and Blanco netted last in the first half. Half time result: 13-12
In the second half of the final Larvik took a flying start and scored four goals, by Blanco, Thea Mörk, and Riegelhuth-Koren twice.
Then followed a period which guests from Győr has won by 6-0, scoring six goals (Löke, Kovacsics, Görbicz, Radicevic twice), result 17-19.
Katrine Lunde showed once again her qualities, saving everything from wing or from 7 meter. Sulland scored  from 9 m, but Anita Görbicz netted twice and find her team mates in clear situations also, 20-23.
Lats minute of the match, Nora Mörk scores from seven meter after Isabel Blanco’s action, but Eduarda Amorim set the final scoring and the final result: 21-24.
