Karoline Dyhre Breivang (Larvik HK):

” I don’t really know what is the reason for this defeat, we had 17-13 in lead, but after that we had a very weak period, when they scored six in a row, turning the match.

We have to analyse this match of course, but we have to use those elements of the game which we made until 17-13.

Three goals under is not a very comfortable result to take with to the next match to Hungary, but we had minus two in the semifinals also, and we managed to qualify on away court.

In the Main Round we lost twice with six goals difference against Győr, now we had only three goals minus, so this is an improvement.

Usually we played good matches on away court until now, so we will try again, we will work to build up our confidence until next week and we will give everything since we don’t have anything to loose.”

Ole Gustav Gjekstad (Larvik HK):

“It’s not very nice to loose handball matches, but I still see chances to overturn this result.

We did not give up, we will fight to win next week also.

Today there were more elements of the game we made mistakes in, so we have a lot of things to make better or improve on the training.

We had to fantastic goalkeepers today on the court, Katrine was also extremely good and Cecilie actually made it possible to have chance on the next match too.

We have chances to win in Veszprém, maybe Győr-players will be nervous also in a CL-final played at home court, and we know that we managed to overturn in the semifinals also against Krim, after we lost here in Larvik.”

Tor Odvar Moen (Larvik HK):

“We have played a good game, as we planned from the start, we tried to shoot more from distance as we did in other matches against Győr, otherwise we have to play only in front of their solid defense. We managed to do this for some periods, but after we become more tired, we missed many shoots, despite thaefact that we had good positions to score, especially when we were in lead, 17-13.

Katrine Lunde is a smart goalkeeper, who also knows very well our players, and expects them to shoot, making good saves and giving possibility to her team to attack.

We had problems with shoot from distance, we scored only 3 goals of 25 shoots, from 9 meter, this must be improved. Our defense was good, in a very hard match, as a final should be.

In the next match I think that Győr will try to increase their advantage, and we have to try to stop them, there is our only chance. “
