Nora Mørk: ” Katrine Lunde is the best goalkeeper in the world”

nora_mork_vs_amorimOle Gustav Gjekstad, head-coach Larvik HK:

“We have played a strange match against Győr again, very similar to the other three earlier matches whne we met them. Every time we had a period of ten minutes, playing weakly and every time we lost the match.

Győr had fully deserved the gold medals, as they were the best team of this season. We are be happy  to  reach the finals,  my players showed a really good performance this season.”

Nora Mørk, rightwinger/rightback- Larvik HK:

“I came back from my long-term injury  and it was great to be on the court, getting possibility to play again. In my opinion goalkeeper of Győr, Katrine Lunde was the reason why we lost this match and the final. Without her  performance we might have had a chance to win or to have a different result here, but she is the best goalkeeper of the world and she proved that today.”

heidi_katrine_pokalAmbros Martín, head-coach  Győri Audi ETO KC:

“I did not think any second about 2011, when I lost the finals against Larvik with Itxako. This year I first have to congratulate Larvik for two great matches. They were fighting until the end, and we had to concentrate every second. Thanks to my players, as looking upon the whole season they really deserved this trophy.

And big thanks to the fans and to the club. I wasn’t part of the history when Győr  lost those seven finals before. I did not feel any pressure, in contrast, it was great that we  reached the finals again. We focused day by day to come so far, we did a hard work and I even do not think that was a pressure on the team.  If there was a pressure it was a positive pressure.

We learnt from the past and we only lived for that moment.”

Katrine Lunde, goalkeeper  Győri Audi ETO KC:

“I feel really happy, as we played a really good season. Larvik were good in the finals, but we were better.

It is always good to win a title, but in this case it is a really special title for the club and I am proud to be part of this team. Last year we missed it by one goal against Podgorica, this year everything was perfect, a really perfect season. I felt always positive about this, I have never thought about past lost finals.

This trophy is  special for me, but even more for our fans. They live for handball, so it is a great feeling to bring them this satisfaction they had been waiting for so long. They wanted us to be on the podium and now they can be as happy as we are.”
