2012 Cup Winners Cup champions, and CL participants from Austria, Hypo NÖ has announced their squad for the next season.
The fact that Hungarian coach, András Németh will leave the club, was known earlier, at the end of last season.
New coach of Hypo was announced in June, and he is Danish Morten Soubak, head-coach of the Brazilian women national team. This seems a smart choice, since Hypo’s team is formed by a bunch of Brazilian national team players, following a prosperous agreement between Brazilian Handball federation and the Austrian club.
Hungarian playmaker, Bernadett Temes has also left the club at the end of last season, and she is in recovery period after a knee-injury, her future team is not known yet.
Newcomers to the club are two Brazilian players, playmaker Francielle Gomes da Rocha (BRA) – (her former club was ACD/Estrela de Guarulhos-SP) and on rightback position, Caroline Dias Minto (BRA) – (her former club was Col. Santa Catarina/Novo Hamburgo).
The squad of Hypo will be completed next year by three experienced players, all former- Hypo players: Romanian born – Austrian line player Simona Spiridon (her last club was Zvezda Zvenigorod), and Romanian born, Austrian back player, Gabriela Rotis-Nagy (after maternity-break) and Russian goalkeeper Olga Sanko (also after maternity-break).
Young Austrian players will also join the team: left wing Viki Mauler from Hypo NÖ 2, and Vera Müller from SSV Dornbirn/Schoren.
Young Hungarian goalkeeper, Anna Hajgató will be part of the squad also, she is also coming from Hypo NÖ 2.
