The second competition-day in CL has continued with four matches:

Group A: newcomers from Baia Mare had their first CL-group match in Germany, against Thüringer HC. HCM has arrived to Nordhausen without Gabriella Szűcs and Georgeta Dinis-Vartec.

Result:

Thüringer HC – HCM Baia Mare 36-29 (18-15)

Topscorers: Sonja Frey (THC) 11 goals and Melinda Geiger (HCM Baia Mare) 7 goals

 

Group B has started today with a clash between Danish side FCM and Hungarians from FTC Rail Cargo Hungaria.

Danes let no chance to their guests, running over the surprised Hungarians, supported by a fanstastic Sabine Englert in the goal, with 26 saves.

Result:

FC Midjylland – FTC Rail Cargo Hungaria 32-23 (16-11)

 

Topscorers: Nerea Pena (FTC) 8 goals and Nycke Groot, Trine Östergaard, Trine Troelsen, Line Jörgensen (FCM) 6 goals each

 

 

Second match of the group was played between Buducnost and Polish champion, Lublin.

Result:

Buducnost Podgorica-  MKS Lublin 31 – 19 (15-8)

Topscorers: Radmila Petrovic (Buducnost)  6goals and Alina Vojtas, Johanna Drabik (Lublin) 4 goals each

In group D , WHCVardar SCBT played against Spanish CL-representant, Bera Bera.

Result:

Bera Bera – WHCVardar SCBT 19 – 23 (8-12)

 

Topscorers: Ziarsolo Areitioaurtena Matxale (Bera Bera) 7 goals and Andrea Lekic (Vardar) 6 goals
