Romania led by Gheorghe Tadici is also preparing fro the ECh-qualification matches against Norway. In the Romanian squad is not to find Cristina Neagu, who is back from her knee-injury, and started to play for her club, Buducnost. She is supposed to be full recovered before the WCh in Serbia.

Oana Manea  (Krim) takes a break form the national team, and  goalkeeper Talida Tolnai (Krim) is not on the list for Romania either.

The squad:

Goalkeepers: Paula Ungureanu (HCM Baia Mare), Mirela Nichita (Dunarea Braila), Denisa Dedu (Corona Brasov)

Left wings: Valentina Ardean Elisei (CSM Cetate Deva),Laura Chiper (Corona Brasov)

Right wings:  Adriana Nechita and Aneta Pirvuț (both HCM Baia Mare),

Line players: Raluca Agrigoroaie (HCM Roman), Timea Tatar (HCM Baia Mare), Crina Pintea (HC Zalau), Diana Ciuciulete (HC Zalau)

Backs: Gabriela Perianu (Dunarea Braila), Aurelia Bradeanu and Adriana Ţacalie (both Corona Brasov), Elena Băbeanu (HCM Roman), Luciana Marin and Laura Oltean (both HCM Baia Mare), Patricia Vizitiu (Krim Mercator Ljubljana)
