The swedish right back player, Johan Jakobsson, goes to the german club Flensburg Handewitt from next season. There he will join several of his other scandinavian collegues who arlready dominates the club.
After three seasons in the Danish club Aalborg Håndbold it was time to move on. Jakobsson came to Aalborg July 1st 2011 from the swedish club Sävehof.
– Johan has been better and better the last two years, and we were aware of that several clubs beyond the danish border had an eye on him. He now get the possibillity to try out his skills in the german Bundesliga, even if we would’ve preferred that he stayed here in Aalborg Håndbold. But, I wish him good luck and all the best for his future, Jan Larsen, managing director in Aalborg Håndbold tells to the press.
– It’s going to be sad to say goodbye to Aalborg Håndbold after this season. It’s a club with the right ambitions, and it was big to be a part of the team when we won the danish championship last season. I hope end my career in Aalborg by winning another danish championship and reach success in Champions League. And, we have the best supporters when we play at home in Gigantium Arena, it’s a pleasure to play for so many people each match, Johan Jakobsson tells to the press.
