Zsuzsanna Tomori (Hungary):
“About the match:
We played a very difficult match against a strong Tunisian team, and to be honest I think that we made the match difficult to ourselves. In my opininon we should defeat Tunisia clearly, but probably after the first victorious match against Czech Republic we were quiet relaxed and the lack of concentration caused the most of the problems.
Our defense didn’t worked at all, against Tunisian backplayers, only in attack we followed the plans, but we made mistakes. My performance could be compared with the performance of the team, but I am glad that at the end we get the two points.
We have to improve our play, we have some days more to prepare before the very important matches against Germany and Romania. In those matches we will have to play with maximum concentration and be sharper.”
Anita Görbicz (Hungary):
” We made a weak game, with a forgettable play. Our defense was not working and made a lot of mistakes.
Tunisia is a good team, we analyzed the video about them, but we played something totally different as we discussed before the match. Anyway, we defeated them, but we have to improve substantially for the next battles.”
Zita Szuszánszki (Hungary)
” Our defense did not worked and we could not score quick goals from contra attack. Tunisia made us to get their slow rhythm of play, but at the end despite excitement we could get the 2 points.
We will continue to work, preparing against Germany and Romania.”
János Hajdu, head-coach of Hungary:
“Today the luckiest team managed to get the victory and the two important points in this game, and this came as an early warning to my team.
We could clearly see where we need to improve, work more to correct our mistakes and improve our play in both phases of the game.
Raja Toumi (Tunisia), backplayer:
” We played against the third best team in Europe and I thin that we made good gaem. We could score lot of goals from distance and since we have analyzed their play, we could put them in difficulties in many situations.
We are a team in improvement and I really hope that we can add that little extra tomorrow against Czech Republic, which will be most important match for us. Our main goal is to qualify to eight-finals from this group, so we have to win tomorrow.”
