The match started with a clearly Tunisian lead and dominance, African team being superior to their opponents in every aspect of the game, mostly backcourt players and lineplayers caused trouble in Czechian defense. Evolution of the score: 1 – 4. 3 – 6, 4 -8 ( 11. min). Tunisian goals were scored by Raja Toumi, Mouna Chebbbah abd Ouided Kilani. Czhechs were hold in the game by Sterbova and Chrenkova.

At the middle of the first half Czech team changed their defense and managed to reduce the gap, to get a draw at 11-11 (min 23,). Mouna Chebbah took the lead back to her team, 11 – 12, but Knedlikova equalised again, 12 – 12. The match was very close, the two teams were following each other closely. Czech Republic took the lead after minute 27, 14 – 13,  then 15-13 after fast counterattacks.

Half time: 15 -14. 

Topscorers of first half was Tunisian Mouna Chebbah with 4 goals.

The second part of the game started with Tunisia in five players, since Toumi got a 2 minutes suspension in the dying minutes of the first half. The match remained balanced, 16 – 16 minute 35. Czech team made some changes and after ten minutes in the second half they took the lead by two goals, 19 – 17, 20 – 18, Tunisia was inefficient, Barbora Ranikova improved her performance in the goal, 23-18 for the Europeans. In minute 52 the result is 26 -20, 27 – 21, 27 – 22. In the dying minutes of the match Tunisians had a better period, scoring three times, but this wa snot enough to get the victory against well prepared Czech team.

Final result: 28 – 24.
