Topscorers: Kristina Kristiansen (DEN) 7 goals and Susan Muller (GER) 12 goals

Denamrk was leading in the first half all the way, German side get the draw in the last minutes of the first half, 17 – 17.

The second part brought a more balanced match, where Germany managed to take the lead for some periods of the match, but was closely followed by their opponent.

The battle of two teams led by Danish coaches Jan Pytlick and Heine Jensen, was exciting, but at the end Denmark was more willing to run, scoring more goals on fast counter attacks, from wings and playmaker Kristina Kristiansen.

Final result: 31 – 28.
