Some days ago we have written about that Linnea Tostenson (30) might transfer to Denmark, after she released  her contract with Krim Ljubljana. Krim is struggeling with huge economical problems and they could not pay the wages for their players.

Linnea Torstenson, Carmen Martin and Patricia Vizitiu has left the club-we still don’t know if the club has released their contracts because of the reason Slovenian  media has published (injuries, bad performances and not properly preparation) or the players has terminated their contracts because they haven’t received their salaries in the last four-five months.

The new was not confirmed right until this afternoon, when the Danish club, Viborg HK has announced on their site that Swedish backplayer, Linnea Torstenson is ready to play already tomorrow against Skive.

“We are glad to be able to find such a top-player in such a short period of time. Linnea is that type of player we were looking for: strong defender and world-class shooter on her position, leftback.”- as the sport-director of the club, Jakob Vestergaard stated.
