Thüringer HC – FC Midtjylland 26 – 24 (10 – 14)

Topscorers: Alexandrina Cabral Barbosa and Svenja Huber (THC) 6 goals each and Trine Östergaard (FCM) 6 goals

FCM arrived to Germany with two points in their pockets got in a lucky manner last week against Savehof, on home-court.

In Nordhausen the Danish team was in lead almost during the whole first half, finishing the first thirty minutes with a convincing 10 – 14.

Thüringer seemed to had no solutions against Danes, but Herbert Müller (back on bench) led his team to an amazing victory, with great contribution of goalkeeper Maike Marz and Alexandrina Barbos, turning the match after they were under with six goals (12-18).

THC misses players like Kerstin Wohlbold, Lidia Jakubisova,Anja Althaus due to injuries, working and playing with a small troop, but showing a great ambition and team-spirit.

Final result: 26 – 24.
