The second half has brought some changes, Leynaud replaced Suslina in the Macedonian goal, Djokic was on the lineplayer position and Dembele on the leftwing. Danes has opened with a 0 – 3, and increased their lead to four goals at 14 – 18 (40.min). Then hosts started the comeback, by Lekic, Djokic and Kmirova, and after seven minutes  they managed to equalize at 19-19. In the 53.min Vardar took the lead, 21-20, 22 – 20, and FCM was not able to equalize, even if they had the chance in the dying seconds for the game.
