Topscorers: Ana Djokic (Vardar) 6 goals and Stine Jörgensen-Line Jörgensen (FCM) 5 goals each

The bunch of many good players is not always a team, and today match between Vardar and FCM was a proof for that. Lekic, Fernandez, Zebic, Nikolic or Radicevic was not able to put a more consistent gap against FCM, and even if the result was close during the first half, Danish team finished with a lead of two goals 10 – 12. Line Jörgensen or Nycke Groot were scoring from distance, meanwhile Vardar was struggeling, especially in defense, but in attack as well, where Sabine Englert finished the half with a saving performance near 55%.

The second half has brought some changes, Leynaud replaced Suslina in the Macedonian goal, Djokic was on the lineplayer position and Dembele on the leftwing. Danes has opened with a 0 – 3, and increased their lead to four goals at 14 – 18 (40.min). Then hosts started the comeback, by Lekic, Djokic and Kmirova, and after seven minutes  they managed to equalize at 19-19. In the 53.min Vardar took the lead, 21-20, 22 – 20, and FCM was not able to equalize, even if they had the chance in the dying seconds for the game.

Final result: 24 – 23.
