After a first half where German team gave too big advantage to Vardar, the team of Herbert Müller showed a very disciplined handball in the second half and managed to keep a point home, continuing to be in race for a FF berth. Vardar also desperately needed this point to not lose the close contact with the leaders of the group.

Next match of the group is scheduled on Sunday, between IK Savehof and FC Midtjylland. Danish team still have chances to qualify to the FF as well, if they win their next two matches and the other results of the group are also favorable to them.
