Ambros Martín, head-coach, Győri Audi ETO KC:

“Congratulations to Larvik, it was  a great match today between two really experienced teams and former winners of the competition.

About my team I can  speak only positive, not only regarding tonight’s game but regarding the whole Main Round. We finished unbeaten this group, which could be called easily the Final Four in my opinion. No matter how this season will end, everybody deserves congratulation.

Regarding today’s match against Larvik, it was quiet difficult to play against such team which came here only to play a good match, without any pressure. They caused us a lot of trouble in different periods of the match, but I am proud of my team that we managed to win this game eventually.”

Raphaelle Tervel, Győri Audi ETO KC:

“I am really satisfied with the result, victory against Larvik is always valuable. Our defense against Anja Edin was not good enough today, she has more scoring situations than she should, and Larvik has scored many goals on fast counter attacks. It was decisive that at equal reault we managed to score and win the match. I am happy with this victory”

Ole Gustad Gjekstad, head-coach Larvik HK:

” We could play without pressure in this match, since we knew from earlier the two teams which got in the FF. I am glad that some of our young players got chance to play at this level, an even if we lost the game I am satisfied with our performance.”

Gro Hammerseng- Edin, Larvik HK:

“I am satisfied with the over-all perfrmance of my team this season. We could play really great matches against those teams which in my opinion has the biggest chance to win this year’s CL. The most beautiful handball is practiced by Győr, meanwhile Buducnost represents the hard, fighter line.

Today we fought to our honour, and despite the defeat I am not sad. I wish good luck for Győr in the Final Four.”
