Macedonian champion, WHC Vadrar SCBT started last year by collecting every free player from the European market and tried to make a team. Maybe this is not the perfect one, but they managed somehow to qualify to the Final Four in Budapest.

They were also active on the transfer market and managed to  sign some players, which are esentially needed in the srtuctire of their team:

Croatian leftback, Andrea Penezic (Krim LjubljanaI and Slovenian rightback, Barbara Varlec-Lazovic (Krim)  will be Vardar players from next season. They will leave the Slovenian champion, which is struggeling with huge economical problems.

On the line, Vardar got a new reinforcement in Anja Althaus (THC), who will replace 35 years old Ana Djokic. The Montenegrin player has announced her retirement after the FF.

Players like Siraba Dembele, Maja Zebic, Begona Fernandez, Amandine Leynaud, Inna Suslina, Tatjana Khmyrova has signed one more year with the club.

Andrea Lekic and Jovanka Radicevic has prolonged their contracts with two more years.
