 From the summer of 2013, Feri Kovácsong is the new head-coach of  Hypo Niederösterreich Austria, along with Martin Matuschkowitz as an assistant coach,

The 52-year-old coach takes over Hypo NÖ after Morten Soubak, since the Dane returns after a year of work in the Austrian capital, to São Paulo, Brazil.
Due to his coaching -experience gained working with young Austrians players and teams, as well as the assistant coach of Hypo NÖ, along András Németh or Morten Soubak, Feri Kovács is considered the right coach for the new team of HYPO NÖ.
The aim of the club is that the new head-coach will work with young Austrian talents and achieve the same results in the Austrian League and Cup, and to remain an issue at the European level as well.
“It is a very interesting task to form a powerful team with Austrian players together with international performers,  and we want also to continue to keep our name in the European handball as well. I’ve  known Martin Matuschkowitz for over fourteen years and we share the same philosophy about handball.”- the new head-coach commented.
