The matches in the Hungarian League has arrived to their finish, last weekend and at the beginning of this week four teams has played for a final berth.

After the regular season Győri Audi TO KC (1.), FTC Rail-Cargo Hungaria (2.), Dunaújváros KKA (3.) and ÉRD (4.) has qualified in the semifinals.

The only surprise could be called the presence of Dunaújváros KKA, which made a strong season, led by their new coach Eszter Mátéffy, with players like Anita Bulath, Bernadette Ferling or Melinda Vincze they managed to finish on the third place.

Semifinals: (are played until two victorious matches for one of the teams)

Győri Audi ETO KC –  ÉRD  35 – 21 (15 – 12)

Topscorers: Heidi Löke (Győri Audi ETO KC) 8  goals and Anna Kovács –  Nadine Schatzl (ÉRD) 6 goals each

ÉRD – Győri Audi ETO KC 26 – 33 (17 – 15)

Topscorers: Anna Kovács (ÉRD) 9 goals and Heidi Löke (Győri Audi ETO KC) 14 goals


FTC Rail-Cargo Hungaria –  Dunaújvárosi KKA 39 – 19 (16 – 11)

Topscorers: Zsuzsanna Tomori (FTC) 8 goals and Melinda Vincze (DKKA) 7 goals

Dunaújvárosi KKA  – FTC Rail-Cargo Hungaria 26 – 33 (12 – 17)

Topscorers: Anita Buath (DKKA) 15 goals and Zsuzsanna Tomori (FTC) 10 goals

Finals: (in May)

Győri Audi ETO KC –  FTC Rail-Cargo Hungaria
