Helle Thomsen: Győr has no weaknesses

Media Call, Hotel Aquincum Budapest-MVM EHF FF

Nycke Groot (FC Midtjylland):

” I am very excited, a lot of things are happening, I feel very good here in Budapest.

About the game:

This is a very good team, with a lot of good individual players, it will be a match of phisically strong fight, because they have a very strong defense, but we will try of course to get our best and push them as har as we can.

About the opponent, Győr:
Their biggest strenghth is that they have so many good players, that even if three of them has a bad day and two others playing well, they can win the game.

About FCM:
We have a really good team, where every player works together really well and fight for each other all the way.

Helle Thomsen, head-coach of FC Midtjylland:

” I am really excited about tomorrow’s game, we will play against the best team of the world. I am expecting a difficult match, but I hope we can give them a really good fight and at the end we can of course win the game.”

About the opponent, Győri Audi ETO KC
“Győr is a team which has no weaknesses, we have to try to keep on our tactical concept, not receive many goals and try to score on fast counterattacks as much as we are able.
Győr has the best backplayer-line of the world, and we also have to add the world’s best lineplayer, Heidi Löke to this. So we will have a difficult job to stop long-distance shoots and at the same time block Löke on the line.

About goalkeeper-fight
Katrine Lunde is a super goalkeeper, but we also hope that our Sabine Englert will have a good performance, it will be very important the duel of the keepers in a match like that.

About Budapest
We feels very good in this fantastic city, our accomodation, the organisation is perfect, I would say a big thanks for everybody is part of the organisatio team.
