ovanka Radicevic (Vardar) after the bornze:

” It was a really difficult match, especially mentally, after yesterdays semifinal, with extra times. It was quiet difficult to get the motivation, but we knew that we deserved to be here, and that’s why we managed to win the match today, saying of course a big thanks for the Macedonian fans and for all Hungarians who supported us.”

Andrea Lekic (Vardar):

” Yesterday we did not play good, and we had to work to go over that, to get the motivation, mobilize ourselves to win this match, which is after all for the title of the third best team in Europe.

Last year begun this project at Vardar, we were a team from nowhere, nobody gave us any credit, but we managed to put Vardar on the map of handball, during this season, so we could be very satisfied with this.”

Helle Thomsen (FCM)

” Thanks for an amazing organized event, we are happy that we could be here, we expected of course a better result, but this is sport, sometimes you have to loose, and it was our turn this time.

Our defense was not working very well today, goalkeepers could not help  either, and Vardar made a very good offensive match today, they always had a player to push them further.”
