German national team player, the 29 year old leftback, Laura Steinbach, leaves FTC Rail-Cargo Hungary, releasing her contract with immediate effect with the Hungarian club. Steinbach will continue at Füchse Berlin.

The reason of changing clubs in the middle of the season for Laura was most private ones, since she was not totally happy in Hungary, missing her friends, her family and the fact that she could not study or work beside handball (as she earlier did in Germany) made her unsatisfied with her life.

Is also known at FTC couldn’t make it to the CL group phases, so this could also push down the motivation.

German tabloids are also discussing that Steinbach makes a couple with Spanish player Iker Romero, the 34 years playmaker also plays at Füchse Berlin’s mens team.
