Thüringer HC  –  WHC Vardar SCBT 21 – 20 (10  12)

Topscorers: Nadja Nadgornaja (THC ) 8 goals and Andrea Penezic (Vardar) 6 goals

With this somehow surprising victory, the German champion, led by head-coach Herbert Müller has earned two important points to take thorugh to the Main Round, where the first four teams out of six will qualify to the quarter-finals of CL.

Vardar had to play without  an injured Andrea Lekic, Tatjana Khmirova and Begona Fernnadez.

 

In the last match of th group Montenegrin Buducnost will meet Croatian Podravka in a match without pressure. Croatians are already out of the competition, and Buducnost has already won this group.
