Johanna Ahlm (SWE) – left back

About the atmosphere on Croatia’s home court:

“It was extra motivation with all the people. You don’t hear whom they are shouting at. So it’s just amazing to be here. I hope there will be a lot of people in all the games.”

About her safe as an extra player in attack when Sweden played with one man down:

“Actually it wasn’s my first save. In my old club I used to be the one with the goalkeeper’s shirt. The save was easy for me, because my opponent was under pressure. But still I thought: Just kill someone or take a timeout so I can go out!”

Andrea Penezic (CRO) – left back

About the atmosphere in the arena:

“I am very satisfied with the atmosphere in the hall. It was great, we had a lot of support. Now I am a little bit disappointed because we lost. But it’s the first game, we have two games and we have to win them. We have to put our heads up and forget about this defeat.”

About the match

“I think that today we failed in our defence. It was not strong enough, it was not aggressive enough. Sweden did no suprise us with anything, I think it was because our defence was bad. ”

About facing Germany on Wednesday:

“It will be a very strong and tough game. We lost today and they also lost. It will be a hard game, but we have to be ourselves and have to play our game and relax a little bit because we have a lot of support. We play at home and we have to win it!”
